Why I do what I do? Creating an environment that is as functional as it is beautiful is so fulfilling. There is nothing better than visiting a project after completion to see people using the space exactly as you intended. And to see them enjoying being in that space is an added plus. To bring a little joy or ease to a persons day to day just by being in a well designed space is the end goal.

My favorite thing about Spokane is... I’m a Spokane native and I’m not about to give away all the secrets and hidden gems of our area :) But being able to go from the hustle and bustle of downtown to my home on the mountain with only the sounds of the birds in thirty minutes is pretty cool, and something I definitely take for granted. Spokane has changed and grown a lot since my childhood but once thing that still remains is the small town feel, and that’s something I hope never changes.

I cannot live without… Other than my son, it would have to be coffee. Being a barista for over eight years in my past life, my tolerance for getting through the day without coffee disappeared. The first thing I do when I wake up is make a cup of coffee, I’m a better person that way.

My last meal before the zombies attack? Well I love breakfast so would have to do a crab eggs benedict from the Floating Restaurant on Lake Pend ‘Oreille along with the fresh fruit crepes from a Cabo resort we stayed at ten years ago that I still dream about to this day, followed by a Dragon Roll from Sushi.com, then a few pieces of the #37 pizza from RepublicPi with truffle oil, a slice of Oreo cookies and cream cake with extra cream cheese frosting from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and would definitely have to have a few pineapple margaritas to wash it all down.

How I play? I live for summer, sun, and being on the water. During the summer months, if I’m not at work, you can find me out at the lake from sunrise to sunset soaking up every last ray…yeah, I know, I’ll probably pay for it later. In the winter, I’m usually finding every opportunity or excuse to go somewhere warmer.
