How I play? : My spare time is spent with my two little girls... girl dogs that is. Those two tiny pups are very special to my husband and I! With those pups by my side, we love to be outside either BBQing in our cul-de-sac playing corn hole with our neighbors, finding a sunny beach for a great spot to camp or wake surfing on our boat at one of our local lakes. When Spokane gets a nice snowfall, I will be up on the mountain snowboarding.

Random Fact about me? : A few years back, you would find me on the road course out at Spokane Raceway Park. Inland Speed track days were my opportunity to ride my motorcycle while test my limits of speed. I had traveled to the west side of the state to participate in a race school for riders, but I never got my riding to the racing level. I will own a motorcycle again, it was way too fun not to have it back in my life.

My favorite part about Spokane?  : There are so many places to explore in Spokane! A few minutes out of town and you can feel completely disconnected from the city. There are so many lakes, hiking trails, camping spots, and mountains for snowboarding. Spokane definitely provides what I need to fulfill my outdoor needs!

Where have I traveled? : I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to places that are full of culture and architectural history. One that sticks out the most to me was a three week trip through Europe. It started as a study abroad in Paris and continued as a self-directed trip through London, Italy, and Spain. Having the opportunity to explore Europe has broadened my view on the history of design and how it influences design today. I will be looking for another opportunity for the next trip!

What I like about Design Source? :  Although my time with Design Source has been only but a few months, I have already started to create a bond with this team. Design Source provides the opportunity for continuing education, networking with fellow designers, and promotes growth as individuals which I find extremely important. I am excited to become a part of this team and look forward to growing within this company!
