The progress of the new space for Fatbeam is coming along! The transformation of this space from a typical office suite is incredible! 3D studies help us communicate our design intent to our clients and is helpful throughout the process from design development through construction. In this project the client wanted to expose the ceilings and create a branded & fun environment for their employees that represents the culture of their company. https://www.fatbeam.com/
Air Reps specializes in HVAC design and installation and has 3 offices throughout the Northwest. The company engaged us when looking to relocate their Spokane office. Design Source has come up with a functional and exciting solution for their new space! Using the existing structure of the building as inspiration, simple elements that reflect the personality of the firm as well as the building were carried throughout the design. We are excited to see this space come to life!
The Monroe Court Building on North Monroe St. is getting a face lift! In the new design, timeless finishes will replace outdated ones in the lobby, corridors and restrooms. The new Lobby will be welcoming with the addition of a fireplace, sitting area, and digital directory. Stay tuned for more photos once the construction starts!
We are excited to share with you this amazing transformation of a building in Spokane built in the 1920s. The owner of this new retail and merchandise shop completely gutted, structurally reinforced, and refinished the interior of the building bringing it back to life. This 15,000 square foot building has completed the first phase of construction and two business occupy approximately 6,000 square feet in the North end of the space. The next phases will include a fresh new exterior, an event space, and corporate offices.
The space includes large format steel panels designed and fabricated by Revamp that provide a high level of security while adding an element of design both inside and outside of the building. The retail space was designed to create an inviting experience through effective layouts, strong branding, product displays, and visual merchandising. The space includes custom fixtures, furniture, signage, and millwork fabricated by Peregrine.
Keep an eye out for the improvements in the next phases!
We recently had the chance to do a site visit to one of our current projects, a convenience store and casino! It is always exciting to see our designs come to life and we cannot wait to share more progress photos with you soon. Stay tuned!
We recently went down to Walla Walla to do a final walk through of the Christian Aid Center. This facility provides restoration and love to men, woman, and their families in need. They support an environment of dignity and hope while providing the structure that helps break the cycle of addictions and domestic abuse.
Through design, we were able to create a warm, cozy, residential like feeling with commercial grade materials, finishes, and furniture that will stand the test of time. We hope this new facility provides a place to be safe, to experience dignity, to live in a caring community, and to find restoration.

Recently, we had the privilege to assist Stifel, a full-service brokerage and investment banking firm, with their new Spokane office. Our goal was to create a modern and sophisticated look while having a timeless feel. All lighting was upgraded to direct/indirect LED and the selected finishes retained a high light reflectance while being durable and easy to keep clean.
Working closely with Stifel, we helped them finalize their floor plan, select the most appropriate interior finishes and furniture systems, and design their custom signage. This office truly reflects the impressiveness of this Investment Services firm, which has been in business since 1890.
Our scope included preparing the permit construction drawings set, assisting with final finish selections, reviewing and specifying furniture selections, designing and coordinating install of custom signage, coordinating technology integration, and designing custom cabinetry.

This new space was designed around WTB's core values with the addition of custom graphics and bright colors to create an inspiring workplace. Congratulations WTB on your new space!
Congratulations to Washington Trust Bank on their new Manito Branch. This beautiful state of the art building boasts the latest in banking design. The floor to ceiling windows encase a customer focused floor plan including a community space with coffee bar and technology integrated elements throughout. We enjoyed being a part of the project team along with WAG Architecture and Associated Construction.
After being asked to join this project by Wolfe Architecture group, we jumped right in to investigate what we have to work with. We were thrilled to explore the old Wonder Bread building just North of the Spokane River and we have found artifacts throughout to re-purpose in the new design of the space. Some of our favorites are the old wood ceiling, over scaled metal warehouse sliding doors, large conveyor belt and scale, and the painted sink wall (Thank you ZNation!) We cannot wait to transform this space into a unique mixed use/ multi tenant building for the Spokane community! #AdaptiveReuse #CoolestOfficeSpaceInSpokane #GettingInspired #Spokane #zNation
