We were delighted to team when a past client asked us to be a part of an exciting new gym located near Gonzaga University. Empire Fitness is a state of the art fitness center with everything from Yoga to heavy lifting. The nearly 10,000 square foot facility is located on the main level of the Matilda Building and includes cardio, weights, yoga, child care and a soon to be juice bar! We focused on a clean and modern aesthetic with open ceilings and durable finishes that were carefully selected to withstand the beating of a multitude of fitness activities. A rectangular footprint and structural columns made the layout of the space a bit tricky, but with careful planning and lots of programming information we were able to achieve a design that allows for ideal flow between workouts. Check out their website and Facebook page for grand opening details, events and membership information!
After working on the exterior design of a new commercial multi-tenant building, we were asked by the client to design a modern, clean and sophisticated interior for their new Optic One clinic and retail location. Situated in North Spokane, the clinic boasts modern optometry technology and a state of the art retail space. The design focuses on a warm and beautiful finish pallet that is also durable and appropriate for the healthcare application. Technology and equipment are always a challenge in a clinic setting as many of the items required special coordination with items such as power, water and cabinetry. Lighting is a main feature in the design with unique and modern applications of the latest LED technology throughout.
If you are looking for a new doctor or are in the area and want to browse their beautiful retail selection, swing by and do so!
The client wanted to liven up the existing pool area with a "WOW" feature wall. The challenge was we could only use paint! After many design studies, we developed a sunset concept to bring in warmer colors complimenting the color of the pool. Plants were specified to bring in a tropical feel, and green paint was added on an opposite wall to balance the feature wall. If you are ever in Omak, you should check it out!
Spokane Eye Clinic is in the midst of expanding to a new location in North Spokane. As our 4th project together, we were thrilled to be able to work with them again! Recently, we visited the job site to check cabinetry and the overall progress of the interior build out. Construction Administration is an important part of the process and helps us make sure that everything is being built as planned.
Another tenant space at The Wonder Building is coming along nicely! As the future home for Rover, a Pet Sitter and Dog walking company, the finishes and layout are well suited for a dog-friendly work place. Their view of the river from the 3rd Floor "Woof Deck" is amazing!
Founded in 2011, Rover is the nation’s largest network of five-star pet sitters and dog walkers. In the past seven years, Rover has grown to serve more than 10,000 cities with more than 140,000 sitters, and now has a Spokane office with hopes of growing to more than 100 employees, both in-office and remotely.
The progress of the new space for Fatbeam is coming along! The transformation of this space from a typical office suite is incredible! 3D studies help us communicate our design intent to our clients and is helpful throughout the process from design development through construction. In this project the client wanted to expose the ceilings and create a branded & fun environment for their employees that represents the culture of their company. https://www.fatbeam.com/
