We recently had the chance to do a site visit to one of our current projects, a convenience store and casino! It is always exciting to see our designs come to life and we cannot wait to share more progress photos with you soon. Stay tuned!

Christian Aid Center: Walla Walla Rescue Mission

We recently went down to Walla Walla to do a final walk through of the Christian Aid Center. This facility provides restoration and love to men, woman, and their families in need. They support an environment of dignity and hope while providing the structure that helps break the cycle of addictions and domestic abuse.

Through design, we were able to create a warm, cozy, residential like feeling with commercial grade materials, finishes, and furniture that will stand the test of time. We hope this new facility provides a place to be safe, to experience dignity, to live in a caring community, and to find restoration.

We invite you to take a look at their campaign Gift of Grace.  Follow the link below:

Recently, we had the privilege to assist Stifel, a full-service brokerage and investment banking firm, with their new Spokane office.  Our goal was to create a modern and sophisticated look while having a timeless feel. All lighting was upgraded to direct/indirect LED and the selected finishes retained a high light reflectance while being durable and easy to keep clean.

Working closely with Stifel, we helped them finalize their floor plan, select the most appropriate interior finishes and furniture systems, and design their custom signage. This office truly reflects the impressiveness of this Investment Services firm, which has been in business since 1890.

Our scope included preparing the permit construction drawings set, assisting with final finish selections, reviewing and specifying furniture selections, designing and coordinating install of custom signage, coordinating technology integration, and designing custom cabinetry.

Today we are back on site to check out the progress of this office remodel! Carpet is being installed on this two story project and it is already transforming the interior of the building! For this project, we teamed up with Shaw Contact to create a custom tile layout that is interesting and dynamic, creating movement throughout the floor plate.  Next to be installed are the DIRTT modular walls which have been designed, manufactured, and will be ready for installation next week. Stay tuned for more photos!

This new space was designed around WTB's core values with the addition of custom graphics and bright colors to create an inspiring workplace. Congratulations WTB on your new space!

Design Source traveled to Walla Walla to explore the construction site of the new Women and Children's Center. We are extremely excited to watch this project's process and can't wait to see the final product, but we are most excited about the doors opening to provide shelter for those who need it!

Congratulations to Washington Trust Bank on their new Manito Branch. This beautiful state of the art building boasts the latest in banking design. The floor to ceiling windows encase a customer focused floor plan including a community space with coffee bar and technology integrated elements throughout. We enjoyed being a part of the project team along with WAG Architecture and Associated Construction.

Wonder Market: Artifact Exploration

After being asked to join this project by Wolfe Architecture group, we jumped right in to investigate what we have to work with.  We were thrilled to explore the old Wonder Bread building just North of the Spokane River and we have found artifacts throughout to re-purpose in the new design of the space. Some of our favorites are the old wood ceiling, over scaled metal warehouse sliding doors, large conveyor belt and scale, and the painted sink wall (Thank you ZNation!) We cannot wait to transform this space into a unique mixed use/ multi tenant building for the Spokane community! #AdaptiveReuse #CoolestOfficeSpaceInSpokane #GettingInspired #Spokane #zNation

Christian Aid Center: WOMEN & CHILDREN'S CENTER

Design Source, Inc. and Architects West Inc. have the honor in partnering together to help build a new shelter for the Christian Aid Center in Walla Walla, Washington. The Christian Aide Center provides restoration and love to men, woman, and their families in need. They support an environment of dignity and hope while providing the structure that helps break the cycle of addictions and domestic abuse. The new Women and Children’s Center will be a new building that promises a chance to be safe, to experience dignity, to live in a caring community, and to find restoration. Monetary donations and volunteer hours are the driving factors that help keep the rescue center going.

As material boards are coming together, we are getting more excited to help the Christian Aid Center in a way we know best; providing an environment that is comfortable and inviting to help with life changes for families in need.
